This is an album of original folk songs and ballads with finger-style guitar accompaniment. The music for the first song was written in 2008, and the lyrics were finished with the rest of the songs in 2016-2017. The songs were originally recorded with full band overdubs but not released, then recorded with piano accompaniment only, and finally with guitar only.

This is a narrative song cycle with guitar and piano overdubs. All songs were written in the Fall of 2021. The album tells the story of Jimmy and Juney and their fateful riverboat trip.
